Wool Dryer Balls FAQ
|
| |
| Instructions~ To use our dryer balls simply throw into your dryer with your wet clothes or diapers and dry as your normally would. There is no need to take them out, unless you want to look at them of course. Your dryer balls do not need to be washed unless you find then needing it (the kids get them dirty… etc.), if they do need a wash just put them in with your laundry and wash like normal. No special care needs to be taken.

~Your dryer balls may feel a bit damp, during shipping they may ‘sweat’ a little, but they will dry up in the first load of laundry you dry.
~They may also have a sheepy smell, although I have heard that this is a ‘good’ sheepy smell, this will also fade in the first load of laundry you dry.
~They will get pilly or fuzzy in the dryer, this is normal. It does not effect the performance, if anything it creates more surface area which means a better dry and fluff! If this scared cat look bothers you simply give them a shave and they will be back to normal in no time.
~No, the scents will not last forever. I am very sad to say that, I sure wish it would. The amount of time your scents last depends on which scent you choose, I’ve found that some fragrances will last longer than other’s and some smell stronger than other’s, but I do my best to make sure they will smell for a significant amount of time. I will send you rescenting instructions when your order ships and I also offer rescenting here on our website.
~Dryer balls will reduce static, but it may not take it away completely. To help with static be sure not to over dry your clothes, and using vinegar in the rinse may help too.
~Dryer balls are completely safe to use with your cloth diapers.. we keep them in our dryer and use with all of our laundry.
~Scented dryer balls are also perfectly fine to use with your cloth diapers, they will not cause any repelling or problems.
~We tell everyone to try and start with around 4 dryer balls, the more you use the better they will help with dry time and softness. There is no limit to the max you can use, here in our home we keep around 12, so again the more you use the more you will notice a change in your laundry.
